Privacy policy
Effective October 5, 2026
This policy explains what the Onra app collects, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: privacy@getonra.app.
What we collect
- Account. When you sign in with Apple, we get an account ID from Apple, and your email address or an Apple relay address. We use them to identify your account. We don't send marketing email.
- Your plan. Your name, onboarding answers, vision, goals, metrics, actions, check-offs, logged values and coach chat. They are stored on your iPhone. We keep one backup copy on our server so you can restore it on a new device.
- Usage count. How many coach messages you send each day, to apply a daily limit.
- Purchases. Apple handles payment. We never see your payment details. The app checks your subscription status with Apple on your device.
- Crash reports. If you share diagnostics with app developers in iOS settings, Apple sends us anonymous crash reports.
We don't use advertising, tracking or third-party analytics, and we don't sell your data.
The AI coach
Coach replies are written by Google Gemini, an AI model. When you send a message, Onra sends Google your recent messages, your name, your onboarding answers and your plan, so the coach can answer. We use Google's paid API, under which Google doesn't use this data to train its models. Our server passes the chat through and doesn't store it. You agree to this in the app before your first chat, and you can choose not to use the coach.
The coach is an AI. It can be wrong, and it is not medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice.
Where data is stored
Our server runs on Supabase, in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Only you can read your backup: each account can access only its own row.
Your choices
- Delete your account in the app: account button, then Delete account. This deletes your account, your backup and your usage count from our server, and your data on the iPhone.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it, at the address above.
Children
Onra is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date above and tell you in the app when the change matters.
